Wine Connoisseur

Hints of dried wild fennel and charred plum, lifted by clove and purple-flower flavors, layers of quiet power and oak lie beneath the fruit, crisp green apple, leather, a gentle dusting of honeydew, loam, gingerbread, and dill on the nose, cardamom, baked licorice, and earthly minerality on the palate, mountain notes of sage, pencil shavings, cigar box, vanilla extract, crushed pepper, coconut, bay leaf. The dark palate offers black current, cocoa, light mint and crushed gravel on the finish, exotic marjoram, cucumber, roasted peanuts, lemon zest, freshly hewn wood, espresso, a light streak of caramel in the finish, infused with a dollop of mystery. Drink after 2020.
